Rector of Masaryk University, together with the Dean of the Faculty of Education and the Dean of the Faculty of social sciences, would like to invite you to the ceremony of conferring the honorary scientific degree of Doctor honoris causa in Special education on Michael Keenan and the honorary scientific degree of Doctor honoris causa in International relations and diplomacy on Magdaléna Vášáryová.

We warmly invite you to the MUNI PhD Day 2024 - an event designed to equip you with essential information and support as you start and continue your PhD studies. When: 23 September 2024, 2 - 5 pm Where: Komenského náměstí 2, Academic Senate Room 343 Language: English What it will be about: * PhD as a newby (PhD research and studies in a nutshell, rights and obligations, ISP, ...) * Doctoral student as part of the scientific community (cooperation with supervisor, stays abroad, services of other MNI units, etc.) * PhD student as a developing young scientist (MUNI PhD Academia, building a career after the PhD, etc.). * PhD student as a person (work-life balance and mental health, in case of crisis, etc.).
