Several field-specific, unidirectional bilingual Russian-Czech and Ukrainian-Czech glossaries have been created at our department, most often as appendices to bachelor’s or master’s theses. We recently decided to use modern technology, specifically the Lexonomy platform, to make these glossaries available to the public.

These glossaries do not aim to capture field-specific terminology in its entirety. Nonetheless, they can greatly benefit translators as they include largely current vocabulary, which is not necessarily contained in printed dictionaries.

We are constantly working on these glossaries and regularly making them accessible. If you find any mistakes in a published final version of one of these glossaries, please write us. Please do not write about adding new words.
