We announce a special issue of the journal “Proudy” 2020/1
Bruno Schulz in the context of Central Europe
Dear contributors, dear readers,
in cooperation with organizers of the festival “SchulzFest”, we announce a special issue of the journal “Proudy”. In the special issue 2020/1, we will focus on the works by Bruno Schulz in the context of Central European literature. Only thematic studies in English, Czech, Slovak and Polish will be accepted for this issue. (Studies in other languages upon request.) Under journal policy, we will carry out a double-blind peer review evaluation of all contributed studies. and by two independent reviewers. Studies not related to the topic may be published in the issue 2019/2 or 2020/2. In other sections than “studies”, we will be happy to publish thematic as well as non-thematic contributions.
We will be glad if you join our thematic issue—whether by submitting a study, review, translation, reportage, or at least by sharing this information with colleagues who might be interested in the topic.
Please, send the contributions to Markéta Poledníková no later than at 15th May 2020. Studies submitted later may not be accepted for review. Below are desirable, but not the only possible topics:
