Biosciences in Polar and Alpine Research
We would like to invite you to participate in the 11th Biosciences in Polar and Alpine Research, a workshop that will be held on November 27th, 2025 at the Faculty of Science, Masaryk University. The meeting will be a hybrid form, i.e. personal meeting combined with an on-line presentations of oral contributions. General intention of the (prevalently) on-line meeting is to provide a platform for data presentation of Czech and international research in the field, exchange of professional knowledge and formation of interdisciplinary approaches in polar research. Basketball battle for Brno – basketball match between MUNI and MENDELU
We invite you to the basketball game Basketball Battle for Brno, which will take place on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. at STAREZ ARÉNA VODOVA (Large Hall). Mendel University in Brno and Masaryk University will compete in the University Basketball League. The game will start with a symbolic tip-off by the rectors of both universities, and a student after party will follow the event. Come cheer and become part of the MUNI TEAM!

Vokolo priglu 2025 - Academic wave
This year, the traditional SAUCONY Vokolo priglu 2025 running event will once again feature a university competition. Come and compete in the "Academic Wave" and fight not only for yourself, but also for Masaryk University. The first 50 students and 25 employees will receive free entry and a T-shirt.
