INFORMATION LETTER
Dear friends!
You are invited to take part in the International Olympiad in Russian as a foreign language “Lobachevsky/RU” which will be held until 23 April 2021.
The competition is aimed at the following categories of foreign participants:
- Students of higher education institutions in the Russian Federation;
- Trainees of preparatory faculties/departments of educational institutions of higher education in the Russian Federation;
- Students of foreign higher education institutions enrolled in inclusive study programmes at Russian higher education institutions;
- Students in educational institutions abroad (schools, colleges, education centres).
Until March 1, 2021 you need to register on the Olympiad website, fill in the application form and complete the online tasks of the first stage.
The Olympiad is held remotely in three stages.
The first stage includes the following tasks: completing a placement test to approve your knowledge of Russian language and culture, and recording a presentation video with a story about yourself. The tasks and instructions for completing them will be posted on the Olympiad website. The information about the participants who passed to the second stage of the Olympiad and the deadlines for the tasks of the second stage will be posted on the website on March, 4 2021.
The second stage takes place from March 5 to April 9, 2021 on the Olympiad website https://mooc.unn.ru/enrol/index.php?id=72. The participants have to prepare a Power Point presentation project on one of the selected topics: "My Russia", "My Small Motherland", as well as to prepare a video presentation of the project with the participant's presentation. The presentation time of the project is up to 5 minutes. Recommended extensions for media files are: MP4, M4V, MOV, AVI. The prepared video and the electronic version of the presentation project should be sent to the Organizing Committee of the Olympiad to the e-mail address: lobachevsky_RU@unn.ru not later than April 9, 2021.
The information about the participants who have qualified for the final stage of the Olympiad will be posted on the Olympiad website on April 16, 2021.
The third and final round will take place on April 20, 2021 in a Zoom conference format (the link to the conference will be sent to the e-mail address entered during registration at mooc.unn.ru). The third stage involves an improvisation competition.
The list of winners and runners-up will be published on the Olympiad website on April 23, 2021.
All participants who passed the first stage will receive certificates. Winners and runners-up will receive prizes and gifts.
Starting next year, winners and runners-up will have an advantage in admission to budgetary places by quota not only at NNSU, but also at all universities in Russia. It will be possible to make the results of the year 2021 count.
