Information about the university:
Russian is taught at Bachelor’s (Honours) degree level at the School of Modern Languages at the University of Bristol. The Russian language is taught at three levels – beginners (Year 1), intermediate (Year 2) and advanced (Year 4). In their third year, students spend either 18 weeks (one semester) or 36 weeks (one academic year) in Russia as part of their degree programme. There are currently 35 students of Russian in year 1, 32 students in Year 2 and 33 students in Year 4, which is their final year. In Year 1, beginner-students have 6 hours of the Russian language a week, in years 2 and 4, they have 4 hours of the Russian language per week.
Duration of stay:
At least 2 months: end of October to December 2019 or February-April 2020. We could also consider internship lasting over one period from the end of October 2019 till April 2020.

V říjnu dr. Renata Putzlacher Buchtová, polonistka z Ústavu slavistiky, představila studentům středních škol v Českém Těšíně život a dílo Zbigniewa Herberta, polského básníka a esejisty ke 100. výročí jeho narození.
